FundedNext Basics

What is FundedNext?
FundedNext is a proprietary trading firm that provides funded accounts to traders who pass an evaluation. You pay an evaluation fee, reach a profit target without breaking the drawdown rules, and move to a funded account where you keep a share of the profits. The Key facts table above lists FundedNext's current plans and payout terms.
Is FundedNext legit?
Always verify independently before purchasing. Check the firm's official documentation. Read the funded trader agreement carefully before paying any evaluation fee. Prop firm rules, fees, and payout policies change frequently.
Are FundedNext accounts real money or simulated?
Retail prop firm accounts, including those at FundedNext, typically run on simulated infrastructure that mirrors real market data. Payouts are funded from the firm's evaluation revenue rather than from live market profits. The Key facts table above shows how FundedNext's funded accounts are structured.
Is FundedNext regulated?
Prop firms generally operate as technology or contractor companies rather than regulated broker-dealers or FCMs, so they are typically not registered with the SEC, CFTC, FINRA, or FCA. The relationship is governed by the trader agreement, not by securities regulation. Read {name}'s agreement for its exact legal terms before paying.

Account Types

What evaluation models does FundedNext offer?
FundedNext offers evaluation programs in which you reach a profit target while staying inside drawdown limits. Each model differs in account size, target, and drawdown type. The Key facts table above shows which models FundedNext offers right now.
What is the difference between the evaluation and funded account at FundedNext?
The evaluation is the test phase where you must hit a profit target without breaching drawdown rules. The funded account is the phase you graduate into after passing, where you can request payouts based on your trading performance. Rules, drawdown types, and payout mechanics often differ between the two phases.
Does FundedNext offer instant funding?
Some prop firms sell instant funding alongside standard evaluations: you skip the profit-target phase, usually pay more, and often get stricter drawdown or payout terms. Whether FundedNext offers it is covered in the Key facts table above.
Can I run multiple funded accounts at FundedNext?
Running several funded accounts at once is common, often with a per-person cap. Firms usually restrict hedging between accounts and copying trades across them in ways that look like one position split up. The Key facts table above shows the account limit for FundedNext.

Plans & Pricing

What account sizes does FundedNext offer?
Prop firms sell evaluations in several account sizes, from small starter accounts to large ones, and the fee rises with size. Promotional discounts can change the price a lot. See the Key facts table above for FundedNext's sizes and fees and the date they were checked. Current range:$6K - $300K.
Does FundedNext charge monthly fees or one-time fees?
Evaluation pricing follows one of two models: a recurring monthly subscription until you pass, or a one-time fee per attempt. The model affects total cost if you need several attempts. The Key facts table above states which one FundedNext uses.
Does FundedNext offer discount codes?
Prop firms often run recurring promotions around holidays and product launches, usually through promo codes or newsletters. Codes change quickly, so a code from an aggregator may already be expired. Compare FundedNext's discounted price with the standard fee in the Key facts table above.

Profit Targets

What are the profit targets on FundedNext evaluations?
The profit target is the amount you must earn in an evaluation to pass, set as a percentage of the starting balance (commonly 6-10%). A bigger account means a bigger dollar target. FundedNext's targets per plan are in the Key facts table above. Typical target:8-15%.
Do profit targets exist on funded accounts at FundedNext?
Many prop firms drop the profit target once you are funded and focus on drawdown limits and payout eligibility, such as minimum profit and number of winning days. So the goal shifts from hitting a target to staying consistent. FundedNext's funded-phase terms are summarised above.
Does FundedNext evaluate on closing balance or floating equity?
Profit targets are usually measured on closed (realized) P&L, not floating equity, so you must close positions for gains to count toward the target. An open winning trade alone will not pass the evaluation. Confirm FundedNext's measurement basis in the Key facts table above.

Drawdowns: Trailing & Daily

What type of drawdown does FundedNext use?
A drawdown limit caps how much you can lose. The main types are trailing drawdown (the floor rises with your profits), static maximum drawdown (a fixed floor from the starting balance), and a daily loss limit. See the Key facts table above for FundedNext's type and amounts.
Does the drawdown at FundedNext apply to unrealized (floating) P&L?
Drawdown is measured either on equity (including open positions) or on balance (closed trades only). Intraday trailing drawdowns follow unrealized P&L tick by tick, while end-of-day drawdowns update only at session close. Which basis FundedNext uses is shown in the Key facts table above.
What happens when I breach the drawdown at FundedNext?
Breaching the drawdown limit normally liquidates open positions and closes the account. In an evaluation you must buy a new one or pay for a reset, if the firm offers resets. The Key facts table above notes FundedNext's breach consequences.

Consistency Rule

Does violating the consistency rule fail my account at FundedNext?
Typically, violating the consistency rule blocks a payout request rather than failing the account. You would need to trade additional smaller-profit days to bring your best-day percentage back under the threshold before requesting a payout. Confirm FundedNext's exact policy.
Does the consistency rule reset after a payout at FundedNext?
The consistency clock usually resets after each approved payout, so the next payout cycle starts from zero and earlier big days no longer count against you. Whether this applies to FundedNext is stated in the Key facts table above.

Trading Days, Hours & Holidays

Does FundedNext require a minimum number of trading days?
Many prop firms require a minimum number of qualifying trading days before a payout. A qualifying day usually means you traded and made at least a set minimum profit that day. The exact count and threshold for FundedNext are in the Key facts table above.
Can I hold positions overnight at FundedNext?
Overnight rules differ by firm and account type. Futures-focused firms often require all positions flat before the daily close, while others allow swing trades held overnight or over weekends. Check the Key facts table above for FundedNext's policy.

Instruments & Markets

What instruments can I trade at FundedNext?
Prop firms offer different markets depending on focus: forex pairs, futures, indices, commodities, or a mix. Futures firms trade CME products like ES and NQ, while forex firms use MT4/MT5 symbols. FundedNext's tradable instruments are in the Key facts table above. Supported platforms:MT4, MT5.
What are the contract/lot size limits at FundedNext?
Prop firms cap position size to manage risk, usually as a maximum number of contracts (futures) or lots (forex), scaled to account size. Exceeding it can trigger a rule breach. See the Key facts table above for FundedNext's limits per account size.

Automation & EAs

Can I automate FundedNext with TradingView via PickMyTrade?
No, not currently. FundedNext runs on MT4 or MT5, and PickMyTrade does not connect to any of those. If FundedNext adds a platform PickMyTrade supports (Tradovate, Rithmic, Interactive Brokers, TradeStation, TradeLocker, ProjectX, Match-Trader, Tradier, cTrader or Ironbeam), automation becomes possible then.
Can I use PickMyTrade's trading time controls with FundedNext?
Not currently. PickMyTrade's trading time controls only apply to accounts PickMyTrade actually connects to, and FundedNext is not one of them right now.

Platforms

What trading platforms does FundedNext support?
FundedNext supports one or more trading platforms depending on the asset class. Common platforms include Tradovate, Rithmic/NinjaTrader (futures), MetaTrader 4/5, cTrader, DXTrade, and TradeLocker (forex/CFD). Check their official site for the current list of supported platforms. Currently listed:MT4, MT5.
Can I use FundedNext on Mac?
Mac compatibility depends on which platforms FundedNext supports. Web-based platforms work on any OS. Native applications like NinjaTrader are Windows-only (Mac users typically use Parallels). Check whether FundedNext's supported platforms offer Mac-native clients or web alternatives.
Can I trade FundedNext on mobile?
Mobile availability depends on FundedNext's supported platforms. Many platforms (Tradovate, MetaTrader) have iOS and Android apps. Mobile is generally suitable for monitoring and emergency exits but most traders use desktop for active trading.

PickMyTrade Webhook Setup

How do I connect TradingView to FundedNext via PickMyTrade?
You can't, not currently. FundedNext runs on MT4 or MT5, and PickMyTrade doesn't connect to any of those, so there's no setup to walk through.
How much does PMT cost on top of FundedNext fees?
$50/month per broker connection. PickMyTrade supports unlimited accounts under the same broker login with a single subscription. If you have accounts under different broker logins, each login requires its own subscription. There is a 7-day free trial, no card required — start at pickmytrade.io.
What TradingView plan do I need for PickMyTrade?
TradingView's webhook feature requires a paid plan — Essential ($12.95/month) or higher. The free TradingView plan does not support webhooks. Once you have a paid TradingView plan, webhooks are unlimited.
Does PickMyTrade require coding?
No coding required. PickMyTrade auto-generates the alert JSON for you. You paste the generated JSON and webhook URL into TradingView — no programming knowledge needed. PickMyTrade also supports custom JSON for advanced users who want fine-grained control.
How fast does PickMyTrade execute trades on FundedNext?
That doesn't apply currently. PickMyTrade does not execute trades on FundedNext, since FundedNext runs on MT4 or MT5 and PickMyTrade doesn't connect to any of those.

Payouts

What is the profit split at FundedNext?
The profit split is the percentage of funded-account profit you keep. Splits typically range from 70% to 100% and can rise with scaling tiers or payout count. FundedNext's split is shown in the Key facts table above. Current split:Up to 90%.
How often can I request payouts at FundedNext?
Payout frequency depends on the firm: some allow on-demand withdrawals once you are eligible, others pay weekly, biweekly, or monthly, usually after a minimum profit threshold. See the Key facts table above for FundedNext's payout cadence and minimums.
How does FundedNext pay out — bank transfer or other methods?
Prop firms pay out through bank wire, ACH, PayPal, or platforms such as Deel, Rise, or Tipalti, and availability depends on your country. Processing times range from hours to several business days. FundedNext's supported methods are listed in the Key facts table above.
Is FundedNext income taxable?
Yes — prop firm payouts are generally taxable income in most jurisdictions. In the US, payouts are typically self-employment income reported on Schedule C, subject to income tax and self-employment tax. Consult a licensed tax professional familiar with trading income for guidance specific to your situation.
Does FundedNext scale funded accounts?
Scaling programs raise your funded balance after you show consistent profit, typically by hitting profit milestones within set drawdown rules. They can also change your profit split. The Key facts table above notes whether FundedNext offers scaling.

FundedNext Futures: trader questions answered

Can I use EAs, trading bots and a VPS on FundedNext Futures?
Yes. FundedNext Futures says you may use automated trading systems such as EAs and trading bots during both the Challenge and on FundedNext Accounts, and that a VPS or VPN is allowed on both stages. FundedNext gives no setup or troubleshooting support for bots, and strategies that exploit system weaknesses, such as latency abuse or order flooding, are prohibited. Bots that trade at the frequency and speed of high-frequency trading are reviewed and can lead to termination. These rules are for the Futures program only; FundedNext CFD has different EA and VPS rules.
Can I copy trades between my own FundedNext Futures accounts, or from another prop firm?
Yes, if every account is yours. FundedNext Futures allows copying between your own FundedNext accounts, and between FundedNext and other prop firms when you own all the accounts involved. It may ask you to prove every account is registered under exactly the same name. Copy tools are allowed, including Tradovate's built-in copier, NinjaTrader modules and third-party platforms, as long as you copy only your own trades. Copying another trader's account, group trading and following signal services are strictly prohibited, even through automated tools.
Is it hedging on FundedNext Futures if I am long one index and short another, or long NQ and short MNQ?
Often, yes. FundedNext Futures prohibits hedging with correlated instruments, meaning opposite positions at the same time on two different underlyings that move together in the same asset group. Its example is buying ES while selling YM. It also bans reverse hedging, such as buying 1 NQ and selling 7 MNQ in one account, or buying NQ in one account and selling MNQ in another. The page does not list which markets share an asset group, so for pairs like NQ against gold, ask support before trading it.
Does FundedNext Futures have a consistency rule?
It depends on the model and stage. FundedNext Futures uses a 40% consistency rule. In the Challenge, it applies to Legacy and Flex: one day's profit cannot exceed 40% of the profit target, or the target is recalculated. On a $50,000 Legacy Challenge with a $3,000 target, a $1,500 day raises the target to $3,750. Once funded, only Rapid Pro uses it, as a withdrawal gate: your best day must be 40% or less of total profit. Rapid Daily has no consistency rule, and Legacy and Flex drop it once funded.
Can I trade news or hold positions overnight on FundedNext Futures?
News, yes; overnight, no. FundedNext Futures does not restrict news trading, but warns that a stop loss may fill away from your price in fast markets. Overnight and weekend holding are not permitted: every position must be closed by 3:10 PM CT each trading day, and anything still open is closed automatically at that time. Trading resumes at 5:00 PM CT, and on Sunday at 5:00 PM CT after the weekend. This differs from FundedNext CFD, which allows overnight holding.
Is there a minimum hold time on FundedNext Futures? What is the micro-scalping rule?
There is no hard minimum, but FundedNext Futures watches trades closed within 10 seconds, which it calls micro-scalping. It measures the share of a cycle's profit that came from those trades; losing trades do not count. At 30% you get a warning. At 40% or more, a Challenge account cannot advance until the share drops, and on a funded account the micro-scalping profit for that cycle is deducted in full. The rule never terminates a funded account, and violations are tracked per account.
When do I need to do KYC on FundedNext Futures, and does it cover my CFD accounts?
On FundedNext Futures, KYC is required before your first Performance Reward withdrawal, not before trading. You can trade the funded account right after passing, but your status must show Verified to be paid. You submit one photo ID and a live selfie, and review usually takes 24 to 48 hours. A driving license is accepted only for traders in the U.S., Australia, Canada and New Zealand. KYC is profile-level, so one approval covers all your Futures and CFD accounts. You get 3 submission attempts.
Does FundedNext Futures have a daily loss limit, and can I set my own as a warning?
Only some models have one. On FundedNext Futures, Rapid Daily has a daily loss limit, and Rapid Pro has one only with the add-on; Legacy and Flex have none. Hitting it is a soft breach: trading stops for the day and resets next day. Every model has a trailing end-of-day Maximum Loss Limit, and a floating loss that reaches it breaches the account instantly. FundedNext notes you can turn on a manual daily loss limit in Tradovate's risk settings as a personal guardrail; it does not change the official rules.

FundedNext CFD: trader questions answered

Are EAs and trading bots allowed on FundedNext CFD accounts?
On FundedNext CFD it depends on account size and platform. EAs, indicators and bots are allowed on MT4 and MT5 for accounts below $50,000, with an extra EA usage fee. Accounts of $50,000 and above must trade fully manually in both the Challenge and the FundedNext Account, and even tools that only set SL, TP or lot size count as EAs. EAs are not allowed on cTrader or Match-Trader at any size. Each EA must use its own strategy, and EAs built to pass prop challenges are banned.
Which FundedNext CFD accounts allow a VPS?
On FundedNext CFD, a VPS is allowed only on accounts below $50,000, for an extra fee, in both the Challenge and the FundedNext Account. On $50,000 and above, traders must place every trade directly from their own device. Even on smaller accounts the VPS must run a trade-taking EA: manual trading through a VPS is strictly prohibited, and a VPS EA that only adjusts SL, TP or lot size also breaks the policy. Shared VPS connections, broker-sponsored MetaTrader VPS and VPS IPs from restricted countries are not allowed.
Can I use a VPN or switch networks and devices on FundedNext CFD?
Yes, within limits. FundedNext CFD lets you use a VPN on Challenge and FundedNext Accounts and recommends a paid VPN over a free one. You may trade from home Wi-Fi, mobile data or public internet, as long as the IP address, including a VPN address, is not from a restricted country. Every device must be your own; trading on a device shared with another trader is prohibited, even a family member's. MT4 and MT5 cannot be accessed from US-based IP addresses because of MetaQuotes' regional limits.
How many trades or server messages per day count as hyperactivity on FundedNext?
FundedNext treats an account as hyperactive at 200 trades or 2,000 server messages in a single day. Server messages include order changes such as moving a stop loss or take profit and updating limit orders, so heavy order editing can trip the limit with far fewer than 200 trades. The help center describes a first warning, a second warning, and a breach on the third occurrence. Warnings are cumulative across accounts, and an account that generates 15,000 messages in a day is forcefully disabled.
If I close a trade before it reaches 3% risk and re-enter right away, does FundedNext reset my 3% risk?
Not necessarily. On a FundedNext Account, the funded stage of FundedNext CFD, risk is capped at 3% at any given time, measured against the initial balance from stop-loss placement and from realized and floating losses across all trades. The limit covers all entries tied to the same trading idea or position, even if split into multiple orders, so a quick close and re-entry on the same idea can be counted together. The help center gives no time gap that makes a re-entry a new idea, so confirm your exact setup with support.
What happens if I break the 3% risk rule on a FundedNext account? Is the 1% limit permanent?
On a FundedNext CFD funded account, the first breach of the 3% risk limit brings a formal warning, and all profit from the violating trades is deducted from that cycle's Performance Reward. A second violation on the same account deducts that profit again and permanently reclassifies the account to 1% allowable risk at a time. Violations are tracked per account and do not carry over to other accounts, but a merged account inherits the higher violation count. A trade closed without any stop loss is flagged separately as a No SL Trade.
Can I copy trades between my own FundedNext CFD accounts?
Only between Challenge accounts. FundedNext CFD allows copying between Challenge accounts you own, up to a combined $300,000, with one account set as master. Copying between a FundedNext Account and any other FundedNext Account or Challenge account is prohibited, even if you own both: first a warning with no reward for that cycle, then termination. External cloud-based copy services are not allowed; a VPS-based copier is permitted only between your own Challenge accounts. Copying with other people, including family, leads to immediate termination.
Can I trade news on FundedNext CFD?
Yes. FundedNext CFD allows news trading in both the Challenge and the FundedNext Account. On Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step and Lite FundedNext Accounts, trades opened or closed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a listed high-impact event count only 40% of their profit, while losses count in full. The rule includes pending orders, stop losses and take profits. Challenge accounts are exempt, you may hold running trades through news, and only high-impact events tied to the pair you trade apply.
Is there a minimum hold time on FundedNext CFD? What is Quick Strike?
FundedNext CFD calls any position closed within 30 seconds a Quick Strike trade. It measures the share of a cycle's profit that came from those trades, and 30% or more is a violation. On a Challenge account, a warning comes at 20%, and at 30% advancement is paused until the share drops. On a FundedNext Account, a warning comes at 20%; if the share then reaches 30%, that profit is deducted, and the account is terminated if it is still at 30% or more at the end of the cycle.
When do I do KYC at FundedNext CFD, and how fast are payouts processed?
On Stellar Challenge accounts, KYC comes after you pass and the server resets; on Stellar Instant, it comes before your first Performance Reward. KYC is profile-level, so one approval covers your CFD and Futures accounts. Your status must be Approved to be paid, though you can keep trading while it is pending. FundedNext commits to processing a Performance Reward within 24 hours of the request, adding $1,000 if it is late, except for bank transfers. The 90-day KYC renewal is temporarily paused.
